WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION OFFICIAL RELATIONS

In 2015, following nearly two decades of active collaboration, the Alliance was granted Official Relations status with the World Health Organization (WHO). This designation recognizes our sustained contributions to global health and enables us to engage directly in WHO governing body meetings, including the World Health Assembly (WHA).

As a non-State actor in Official Relations, the Alliance can submit formal statements, raise awareness at international forums, and—with WHO’s support—host annual NGO briefings during the WHA. This status strengthens our voice in global health advocacy and deepens our partnerships with WHO and other key stakeholders.
