Communications Intern
Position Summary:
The Communications Intern will support the Alliance in strengthening its digital presence, producing engaging content, and implementing communications initiatives to increase visibility and outreach. This role offers hands-on experience in communications strategy, content creation, and digital engagement, including the use of AI tools to optimize workflows and enhance outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy, including digital and social media channels.
Assist in creating, editing, and formatting content for newsletters, social media, website, and other internal/external communications materials.
Collaborate with the team to enhance online presence and audience engagement through innovative digital approaches.
Support the integration of AI tools for content creation, data reporting, and workflow efficiency.
Assist with the organization and management of communications resources, including digital archives and media assets.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and brainstorming sessions for communications campaigns.
Required Competencies:
Experience in digital communications, social media management and content creation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French an asset).
Familiarity with basic graphic design tools and web editing platforms.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and contribute proactively in a collaborative team environment.
Interest in using technology, including AI tools, to enhance communications efficiency and impact.
A tripartite internship agreement is mandatory.
